Happy Tuesday !!

… So, Yesterday I out did myself, for myself, and I couldn’t be any prouder, of myself. You know those moments you have where you just KNOW that you are doing the right thing, and you just feel this complete overwhelming sensation of “it’s going to be OK”… “Everything really is going to be ok”… These words just kept playing over and over in my mind. Me - I have never thought of having quinoa for breakfast to me it has always been a rice substitute – I may have to give this a try – especially now that the mornings are getting chilly and oats is off the menu.

Lyndal - Oh! L! I thought of you the other day – I picked up an old old fitness mag at home and they had a weekly paleo meal plan. TBH I hadn’t thought of quinoa for breakfast, but it brings a good amount of savoury to often too sweet breakfasts xx

Liz @ Clover Feet - Quinoa and shredded coconut is my favourite for breakfast. It’s so great that you can cook a batch at the begining of the week, store it the fridge and just heat up a portion for breakfast every morning.

Lyndal - oh deb – i hear you on this one… it took a bit of experimenting for me to find ways i actually enjoyed it. Coles stock a brand called celebrate health and do tomato&Basil, Lemon&Thyme and medditeranian flavours which i found so helpful when i was getting used to the texture and taste…

Jenn Unger - Yum!! Looks delish. I’m doing quinoa flake and chia ‘porridge’ at the moment – just cover with enough boiling water to soften really then add yoghurt/nuts/seeds/fruit etc… Will have to try this recipe out 🙂
